Job requirements

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for leading the entire design process – from discovery to delivery. You’ll be a strategic partner to Product Managers to shape the product, understand customer needs, and bring ideas to life through high-quality, user-friendly designs. In this role, you’ll be the primary design owner, ensuring that everything from wireframes to final UI components is well thought-out, polished, and implemented correctly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Discovery & Customer Research:

    1. Collaborate with the Product Manager to conduct customer interviews, gather insights, and define user journeys, personas, and pain points;

    2. Turn customer feedback into actionable design concepts to improve the product;

    3. Participate in user testing sessions and continuously refine designs based on feedback;

    4. After feature releases, gather post-launch feedback to identify areas for design improvement.

  1. End-to-End Design Ownership:

    1. Own the entire design process, from initial concept to final implementation;

    2. Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively;

    3. Iterate quickly based on feedback from internal stakeholders and users;

    4. Maintain and evolve Flow48’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product.

  1. Design Consistency & Quality Control:

    1. Review front-end implementations to ensure design quality and consistency;

    2. Collaborate with developers to resolve any design-related issues during the development process;

    3. Build UI component libraries that are developer-friendly and scalable.

  1. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

    1. Work closely with Product Managers and Stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with business goals and user needs;

    2. Proactively suggest improvements to both design processes and user experiences;

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in UX/UI product design, ideally with B2B or fintech products

  • Strong experience with customer discovery processes, including conducting user interviews and translating insights into designs

  • Expertise with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

  • Experience building and maintaining design systems and UI component libraries

  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and design thinking methodologies

  • Experience collaborating with developers to ensure seamless design handoff and high-quality implementation

  • Ability to review front-end development work to ensure design quality and consistency

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Nice to have:

  • Experience designing fintech products or B2B platforms

  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS to better communicate with developers

  • Experience with QuickSight dashboards or other data visualization tools
