Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC).
  • Prepare the design specifications, documentation, and effort estimations.
  • Clarify the technical requirements within the project teams as well as with customers and suppliers.
  • Implement control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments

Skills and requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering or a related field of study
  • Long term professional experience of energy and control technology
  • Good knowledge in converter- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed loop controls
  • Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
  • Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
  • Fluent English
