We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to improve deployment processes, system performance, and overall developer experience.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Implement and maintain containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance, ensuring high availability and SLA compliance
Automate operational processes and reduce manual intervention (toil reduction)
Manage database infrastructure, including backups, replication, scaling, and disaster recovery
Enforce security best practices (IAM, secrets management, network policies, vulnerability scanning)
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience (local setups, CI/CD speed, debugging tools)
Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and postmortem analysis
Required skills:
3–5 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-related role
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS/Fargate)
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, CDNs)
Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash or similar)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Familiarity with database operations (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Good understanding of security principles (TLS, IAM, secrets management, compliance basics)
Nice to have:
Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Familiarity with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux)
Experience in cloud cost optimization
Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
